Christmas Simplicity

For this card I have used a bauble and chain from the set 'Christmas Decorations and Embellishments' by My Paper World, and the Merry Christmas is from Kaiser, which I have had for a couple of years, but still find it useful.. I have stamped them in red and clear embossed. edged with a silver pen, and layered onto red card from stash.
I would like to enter the following challenges at

Snowflakes

Todays card is for the challenge at
http://totallypapercrafts.blogspot.com/   for 'Let it snow'

I have stamped the background with my PB snowflake stamp, added a layered PB stickeroo, and embellished with a simple embossed snowflake.

Using leftovers

I was so pleased to see the Cuttlebug Spot Challenges are back again. I missed the first one as we were away, but have entered the current challenge with this card.
http://thecuttlebugspot.blogspot.com/
The paler card is embossed with swiss dots, and because it wasn't big enough, I tore it across the bottom to extend it, and put the  greeting in the space. The Penny Black stickeroo is also on a leftover piece that toned in with the other colours

Decoupage

Today's card has  a type of 3d decoupage known as a pyramage I think. It has seven layers all getting progressively smaller. I have layered the image on a piece of a paint sample from a hardware store, and tied with a narrow pink ribbon from my stash. The base card I have recycled from a photograph album.

Another Christmas card

After being away on holiday for over 3 weeks, it is great to get back into cardmaking again. I am now so late with my Christmas card makes!!
I saw this challenge on
http://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/
for green and trees.
I can also enter at
http://creativecraftchallenges2.blogspot.com/
for anything goes
and at
http://shoppingourstash.blogspot.com/
for Christmas or Winter

I used 3251H Garland Tree, and stamped it 3 times on the card, and 3 times on different green papers, which I then paper pieced. Finished off with some green spotty ribbon, a gold metallic snowflake, and  Christmas words. Quite simple really, but looks very nice IRL

It has been quite a while since I have been able to update my blog, as we have had family home from overseas to help celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary. They have all gone home now, so it's mountains of washing, and cleaning sticky fingermarks off windows etc!!
Anyway I have been seeing lots of Halloween cards on blogs, so thought I would have a go - although we don't really celebrate it here in NZ
